Excellent purchase
Fry pans are good, heavy quality metal and absolutely do not stick! Cook very well and will purchase more items from this line as no forever chemicals emitted!

Great fry pan
All of my pots and pans are stainless steel except for my fry pans. Must have non-stick for eggs, etc. I have wanted to get away from the non-stick coating that always comes off after a year or two requiring me to replace them. I decided to try the Guy Fieri Flavortown Laser Titanium 8.5″ Fry Pan which is the most used pan in my kitchen. Despite my trepidation at buying yet another overrated product with a celebrity’s name on it, I bought the 8.5″ fry pan and it is marvelous. I can’t address longevity yet but it is the best non stick pan I’ve ever had. Eggs slide out like a breeze. No stick what so ever. I’m looking forward to buying additional fry pans after the first of the year to replace my 10″ and 12″ fry pans. These are great!

Best Cookware IĆ¢ĀĀve Ever Owned
You season the pans before using, which only takes a couple of minutes per piece. There is a video on the internet as to how Guy recommends you season them. Once seasoned, these pans are awesome. They practically wash themselves with just water. Food, even baked on or left with macaroni and cheese overnight (Oops), they clean up beautifully with no effort. It says you can use metal utensils. I donĆ¢ĀĀt have any because IĆ¢ĀĀve had to use silicone or plastic with every other cookware IĆ¢ĀĀve ever owned, but I feel certain it would be safe to use them. It is a little heavy, but I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and have weak hands. It may not be a problem for others. I really hesitated to spend this much on cookware. I usually just buy a nice set around $100 and donate or throw away when they start to look scratched. So spending almost $300 for cookware was something I had to consider. I shouldnĆ¢ĀĀt have worried. I feel certain this set will last for many years. Highly recommend you get this set, you will not regret it if you love to cook!!!

Quality for the Price. Still requires Correct Preheating Method. Better than Stainless?
IĆ¢ĀĀm all about finding a nontoxic alternative to chemical coated nonstick pans. I got this set of 2 fry pans for about $50 during Prime Days.I am happy with the weight of the pans, I was worried they would be thin and light but they feel good in the hand and a good weight. The handle is very comfortable.I did the pre seasoning, which was simple overall. I used avocado oil. Oil doesnĆ¢ĀĀt appear to smoothly cover the surface, but itĆ¢ĀĀs fine, it does leave enough to season the pan.It takes higher heat to get up to temperature than my SS fry pan. It will take some experimenting to find the sweet spot for the perfect heat for this pan.It will basically be nonstick If the pan is preseasoned and preheated properly. If itĆ¢ĀĀs not hot enough, food will stick.Have your food ready. In this case I was making scrambled eggs.Learn how to do the Ć¢ĀĀmercury ballĆ¢ĀĀ water test to determine when the pan has reached the right temp for nonstick. The picture shows the water to have bubbles in it – itĆ¢ĀĀs not up to temp yet. If the water (1/4 tsp) sizzles, bursts, scatters, boils off, the pan is not hot enough. The video shows the how the water basically is like a mercury ball floating around on the pan. The pan is now at the correct temp.Wipe out the water drop and add your oil, butter, tallow, lard. Only a little is needed about a 1/4- 1/2 tsp. Add food as soon as oil is heated. I used bacon fat. Oils/fat add flavor and healthy oils donĆ¢ĀĀt need to be avoided. My scrambled eggs came out perfectly cooked and didnĆ¢ĀĀt stick to the pan at all!All good! I anticipate these pans will sear a steak to perfection.I love that metal utensils can be used and there is no coating that can peel off.Realistically though, these are not nonstick as we tend think nonstick pans should be – super slick pans with the historically toxic chemical lab created coating. I personally donĆ¢ĀĀt trust that the Ć¢ĀĀsaferĆ¢ĀĀ nonstick coating of today are completely safe. Just my opinion.Learn how to properly use them and they will be nonstick but not the super slick like modern nonstick pans.I donĆ¢ĀĀt know if the pans will become more slick with more pre seasoning, like a cast iron pan. Time will tell.Overall, I donĆ¢ĀĀt these will work for people who want to throw food in a cold pan with no oil/fat and expect it to slide around the pan like with the chemical nonstick pans. They will work for people who are willing to learn or already know about preheating pans.IĆ¢ĀĀm on the fence if they will be a replacement for stainless steel. As mentioned before, the cooking diameter in the pan is surprisingly small compared to the outer diameter, but useable for how I use the pans. One thing that would really help would be for Guy FieriĆ¢ĀĀs website and the instructions is to have more info on preheating the pan to the correct temperature and long term maintenance- such as do these need to be seasoned again as time goes on?

Works well
I’ve used it around 10 times so far. I would recommend it. Cheese does stick a little, but I can easily clean it with water and my hand. I don’t use a sponge and I put a light coating of oil on it before I put it away, treating it like cast iron.

Perfect egg pan
ItĆ¢ĀĀs the perfect egg pan. Two fried eggs fit perfectly, great non stick and durable with metal utensils. I would recommend this to friends & family.

good pans
Somehow smaller than I expected, I like the pans, will probably order the larger pan too. Arrived in good condition, promptly.

Only time will tell…..
I was disappointed with the look as it looks like any coated pan. I seasoned but could not get the oil to smoke. at the 300 degrees. So far first cooking the eggs did not stick. Turkey bacon cooked ok.
