Excellent, reliable suitcases
Surprised at what great quality these even with the beautiful design! Theyâre everything I wanted in luggage: easy to maneuver/agile, sturdy, very* generous capacity, great internal zipper compartment to keep (plenty of) shoes (even boots and heels) and toiletries separate from clothes and other items, sturdy handles, and quality inner lining. Zippers are also thick and slide easily (my toddler canât get enough of them and hasnt broken any yet and Iâm not worried she will cuz theyâre sturdy). My mid size one was heavily filled on a recent trip (packed 10 days into it plus dresses to attend a wedding, all without the zipper expander) and took a good tumble off the curb and slid a bit into the street on a slant when I wasnât paying attention (tho it rolled standing upright with some finesse before going down) and came out with the casing pretty much unscathed, just a little mark on the handle where it hit, so Iâm pretty confident these can handle being tossed in and out of a luggage trolley pretty well and maintain the nice exterior. Also, they just make me happy to see in the room during travelâ theyâre bright, have hummingbird animal spirit vibes, and my little girl seems to think theyâre all for her! And if they truly hold the test of time by the time sheâs big enough they will be 🙂

UPDATED REVIEW: I traveled to CA and the luggage held up so well! Iâm truly impressed. I havenât even notice more damage than a couple very tiny scratches. I flew on a smaller plane, so overhead space was limited, but I easily carried my small suitcase on the plane and it wasnât too heavy to put in the overhead bin. These sets are awesome!! Worth the splurge in my opinion.ORIGINAL REVIEW: I bought this set because my older, soft-sided luggage was on its last leg from my latest trip. I love that this Betsey Johnson luggage has more than 2 wheels so itâs nice and easy to maneuver.I havenât traveled with them yet-Iâll be using the carry on only for my CA trip in July, but I expect the carry on will hold up just fine.The one thing Iâm concerned about, which others have mentioned, is that when/if any of the bags are checked, the TSA agents are very unforgiving, and the luggage may not hold up very well. This is my reason for 4 stars instead of 5.FedEx delivered the box to my front door which was so helpful because I live on the third floor of my apartment building. The luggage comes in a large Betsey Johnson box, so I imagine if you wanted to surprise someone with it, it may be difficult to hide what it is.I believe that unfortunately, thereâs really no way to guarantee that you wonât receive a set with damage or defects… itâs kind of the luck of the draw. My set was perfect, but obviously there are reviews where that was definitely not the case.All in all, I might buy again , however Amazon raised the price from around $250 to nearly $275 in the last week, which seems unfair and unfortunate.I do recommend this luggage- great buy!

A Bit Flimsy for Regular Travel

SO CUTE + STURDY! Absolutely Perfect!
This luggage is so cute and durable! The hard shell was exactly what I was looking for with the added bonus of being ADORABLE! I love that each suitcase came with a rubber luggage tag <3. The dual side storage was the big plus for me. Most suitcases you have to stack everything and then try to close it. These suitcases have zipper enclosed storage in the base and lid so that you don't have to try to eyeball how much you can fit. The lining is also very cute. I loved that there are 4 wheels instead of just two making travel through airports a little easier without having to deal with the tilted weight of the suit case. This will be absolutely perfect for all the travel that I plan to do this year from a cross country road trip to a Caribbean cruise!

Cheap plastic not worth the price
I bought this for my daughter who travels. However, however, she wonât even be able to use this in in a car. Because the plastic is so flimsy that we canât stack anything heavier than her thumb on there. She barely touched it in the causes a sizable dent . It is a shame because it was such an adorable set. There is absolutely no way we can stack anything on it, and there is absolutely no way this will uphold a baggage claim.We are even afraid to put anything on top of it in storage as it is such flimsy plastic

I would not recommend buying this luggage set, in no way is it âhard shellâ or âextra thickâ material as advertised, or that you would expect from hard shell luggage. All 3 cases are made of cheap, thin, flimsy plastic, that bends easily when pushed. Nor does it have a textured finish to prevent scratches, itâs shiny and will scratch very easily. The zips are cheap and flimsy too, with some of the teeth already misshapen. This luggage set will not withstand airport handling, and is being returned.The seller has also stated on the advert, that they offer âfree returnsâ for âany reasonâ⦠This is not true, I generated a return, only to be told I am responsible for the return fee, and they will only refund up to £4.75 towards the return cost. The weight of the cases combined is around 26lbs, without the huge box it came in, so you can imagine what the cost of return will be!
