Best mixer! Bought my 2nd!
This is by far the best mixer! I was gifted the older version 18 years ago for a wedding gift. And about 17 years later it had to be thrown out. I think the mixers broke. So I ended up buying a kitchen aide for a replacement and that thing stank!! It was slow and the mixers broke in about a month or so. I thought it being kitchen aid it would be tough. Anyway, I decided to look up the new version of my old mixer and bought it. The thing works just like I remember and I hope to have this thing for another 17 or so years!!

Good for the price
I double-checked how much I paid for this before I left the review. If you’re getting it for less than twenty, then I’d say go for it. It’s a perfectly capable hand mixer for those of us who accept we would never get good value per use out of a stand mixer! I will say my least favorite thing is that the slowest speed is still pretty darn fast, so that’s a recurring nuisance, but, again, I didn’t exactly pay a ton of money for this. Otherwise works just as expected and has held up well over a year!

This mixer has saved me a lot of time mixing over the years. It has gotten me through many cooking disasters (defined by any time I enter a kitchen), and holidays.I like the controllability of the speed. It covers a pretty wide range from turtle-speed to flinging icing clear across into the neighbor’s house, for you extreme kitchen users that live fast.The storage container that it clips into is super handy.The attachments haven’t rusted yet, and seem to cover all of the bases.It’s a little noisy, but I won’t hold that against it. I am too, after all.I’ve accidentally dunked this thing in a sink full of dish water, dropped it on the ground, dropped it on my feet a few times, and it’s still running. Completely un-phased, in fact.I strongly recommend this mixer. You need it. It needs you. You’ll form a strong bond through kitchen trauma together.

Had a Hamilton for 20 years. Gifted to my mom to upgrade hers. This came and I used it immediately!! Love the new design. ItĆ¢ĀĀs a bit easier to hold. Love the spot to lean it on the bowl. Plenty of power and decently quiet. For the price the quality canĆ¢ĀĀt be beat!

My second HB mixer-hope it lasts like the first!
The mixer arrived promptly. It looks and operates like my old one-simple. Comes with a whip for frothy whipping, in addition to the two regular beaters.Lastly. Tada. After I gave up trying to make the beaters fit the cover- seeing in reviews that this is a common frutration-I threw them in thinking I’d just sit the bowl beside the mixer and store the beaters in them. Apparently that ego surrender did the trick and suddenly they fit. The beater fit on top. Took it off, stuffed the cord in as well and voila- it worked as advertised. Beater, beater, whip was the secret combination, all facing the wider end. They should include a diagram or just drop this feature which apparently frustrates more often then it works. The mixer itself? Is my second and the first lasted about 40 years maybe more. My sister’s lasted 50. I hope their quality remains true in this little item.
