Where have these been all my life?
I had never seen any kitchen tool like this until recently. Like most people, I used to fight the big hunks of ground meat with a spoon or spatula to try to break it into small chunks. But these hamburger choppers work wonders! They’re made of nylon and so can take the heat and are non-toxic. All you have to do is mash straight down and it does the work for you. You can twist the handle a little also to make it work a little faster. But overall it’s a very pleasant and simple experience. Yes, some meat does get wedged between the little blades but that comes out easily with a gentle tap and as the meat cooks it stops sticking. Overall I think these are a fantastic value for the price and I am very satisfied with them. These are now indispensable tools for me in the kitchen!

This makes browning hamburger a breeze, saves a lot of time. I recommend spraying the tool with cooking spray before using and it will rinse easily and wash clean in the dishwasher. ItĆ¢ĀĀs a very sturdy tool, I will probably use it for coarsely mashing potatoes and blending gravy or sauces, maybe pancake batter or scrambled eggs ?

A New Style Cooking Tool
This kind of chopper for ground meat cooking is a new concept to me. I’ve seen some influencers on Instagram using this kitchen tool and it seemed like a more efficient way to break up hamburger, ground chicken or turkey, sausage, etc. while in the browning stage. It does do that effectively.One small thing that I wasn’t expecting is that the meat has a tendency to stick to the insides of the chopper’s blades. I found it helpful to have a small scraping spatula to free that meat trying to cling to the chopper so that it can go back in the pan to brown. For breaking up the meat to smaller pieces, this tool works great.Clean up is easy. You can wash it by hand, or just rinse it off and put it in the top rack of the dishwasher.
