Nice pen
Writes very well (rollerball) and has a very nice, high quality feel. This feel is why you pay $40+ for a pen rather than simply using disposable bic pens. I believe this quality feel justifies the cost. While different from my Faber Castell pens, it feels equally as good and is about $30.00 less. Both feel very nice and have a different design but I would not fault anyone who wants a nice writing pen to choose this one.

Above and Beyond Customer Service
I purchased this pen around 16 months ago and loved the aesthetics, feel, weight etc. It would glide on paper and was an absolute joy to write with. For various reasons I did not have the opportunity to use it a whole lot and it was sitting on my desk for several months. Finally when I did start using it again, the writing was scratchy and the refill had begun skipping. I felt I had not used it enough for the ink to have run out. I therefore decided to test the spare refill that came with the pen and found that even the spare was skipping. I was very disappointed and reached out to Scriveiner support for help. Dan from customer support responded to my email almost instantly. He recommended some steps so I could try to unblock the refill. He also shared that refills typically last for 12 months if stored with the cap on. I was unable to unblock the refills after trying the steps Dan recommended and realized that they were probably dried up because they had already crossed the 12 month mark. While I was disappointed, I accepted my mistake and thought no more of the matter. Imagine my surprise then, when I saw another email from Dan asking me for a shipping address so he could send me spare refills! When I did not respond for a couple for days, he sent a polite follow-up email. I had barely emailed my address when I found he had already shipped the spare refills and they arrived at my doorstep (from across the Atlantic!) within a couple of days! I am gobsmacked at the incredible customer service of this small family-run business. They truly go above and beyond to take care of their customers! I am certainly a fan and a customer for life š Bravo–well done!

The quality far outweighs the cost
Literally, the quality is truly remarkable. I know it’s just a pen, but it is really nice! It looks great, feels great, and writes beautifully. The only less than perfect thing I’d say is, they do write heavy on cheap paper.. But this isn’t made for cheap crappy paper. It’s made for quality. You wouldn’t drink a good scotch out of a plastic or Styrofoam cup. And just like enjoying a fine scotch, the quality of the pen shines best with the right tools. I use it every day for school and work, and the notes I take with it are stunning. I’ve actually gotten several compliments on my notes lol. And I’m glad I got it. I was apprehensive at first, cuz it’s a bit of money for a pen. But I was tired of junk, disposable, usually free pens. And I’ll continue to purchase from them. To the Scriveiner team, f***ing bravo.

Elegant pen that writes well
I like how this pen looks and I like how it writes. One annoyance is that the cap wonĆ¢ĀĀt stay on the pen if you you jam it on the back while you are writing with it. It falls off a lot. (The cap stays on when you snap it over the writing end of the pen.)

Bought it recently & the cap was loose.The plastic piece inside the cap which locks the pen cap over the other half of the pen, it was cracked & the pen was fitting loose when not in use.The seller saw my review & reached out to replace it with a brand new product at no cost. It was shipped & delivered in 2 days. And I was also asked not to return the old product & keep it too.I love the pen. Perfect weight, very beautiful, writes super smooth, no leakages & extremely comfortable.It does get scratches very easily.

I am a fan of Montblanc pens, and was considering purchasing another Montblanc when I came across these Scriveiners.I just received the pen and – WOW. The writing is effortless and the ink delivery is beautiful. My signature has never looked so good. My Wife, who doesn’t care about these things, LOVED it and was amazed how effortless the writing experience is. She said, “your hand won’t get sore from writing with this, you don’t even have to press down.” It’s a great looking, resin-style pen with a good lacquer. Nice and rich looking. Not too heavy, but feels substantial in the hand. The box is very nice and the free refill enclosed with it adds value. It’s no Montblanc, but for the money, I’d say… are you looking for a nice writing instrument for yourself or as a gift and don’t want to spend hundreds? GO FOR IT.
